I am Antonio dP, dj-selecter of cumbia and electro-cumbia
When we were teenagers, I was the one who played the records at parties!
I am in love with cumbia, a diverse musical genre with an irresistible rhythm!
So I began my personal journey of searching and selecting the best tracks by Colombian, Mexican, and Argentine musicians, and I created my Dj set, my “Sonido” as the Mexicans say.
“Sonido de Fuego” explores this fantastic musical genre, mixing modern cumbia with its origins, electronic sounds with classic instruments… creating a magical wave that brings joy and makes you want to dance!

My Experience
I am available for DJ sets in clubs and private parties, and I am open to collaborating with other DJs.
I use a Denon console and the mixing software Traktor.
I have also studied DJing with the help of two DJ friends… and I have rhythm in my blood!
I prefer smooth transitions, but I mainly focus on musical selections drawing from my extensive repertoire of Argentine, Colombian and Mexican cumbia carefully selected over time and in high quality.
I have different Cumbia sets, with more marked influences of electronic and classic Cumbia.
I enjoy both styles and love mixing them to create an unforgettable, danceable rhythmic flow!
In the past, I’ve worked on electronic and reggae-dub music sets, and I like all non-commercial music!
I am also a visual artist, a videomaker, and have worked in photography and art… but now I am focusing on music!
